3D Product Animation

Brief:

To demonstrate a digital presentation and prototyping techniques using the following tools: animation, realtime rendering and rapid prototyping.

Through this project I have:

- Gained proficiency in real time visualisation and 3D animation
- Generated photo-realistic rendering
- Developed an advanced understanding of applying colour, texture and lighting effectively, in all aspects of visual communication
- Produce an interactive digital and rapid prototyped space model in order to create an immersive experience

I also developed and delivered a three-part presentation centred on this single product using:

- Solidworks using advanced surface modelling techniques to 3D model the product
- Autodesk VRED to deliver an interactive oral presentation of the product
- Autodesk 3Dsmax to create and render the animation
- Adobe After Effects to edit the animation and create the motion graphics
- Garageband to create the music soundtrack for the animation
